Rabbit Hutch Plans Indoor

California is the garden of eden

begin the week heavily involved in a couple of records of women. Two discs above have something in common: a sound eminently Californian. But different. One California drinks the Quicksilver Messenger or Love. The other from Jackson Browne or Joni Mitchell.

The first is Jesse Sykes. After Like, Love, Lust & The Open Halls Of The Soul , his last album, it was normal to expect something to continue on the same line. But no. Sykes has been removed from a record sleeve, Marble are, where they have inherited these guitars more prominent role John Cipollina of more inspired than his own voice. Topics in the Fairport Convention appear to cross the Atlantic to disguise Moby Grape are combined with long instrumental developments more acidic than the very Golden Gate. How happy must walk Jerry Garcia with this record.

What is something else, but California is also music. She has been led by the reins of her husband Tim, leader of The Mother Hips, to build a beautiful and precious disk. Driftwood . Located between Joni Mitchell and James Taylor present less cake. We, as women become Jackson Browne. Beautiful songs halfway between country, folk and soul.

And between the two I start singing that Ted Russell Kamp from " California is a garden of Eden the" clear homage to the "Do Re Mi" by Woody Guthrie. With albums like that should be friend Ted, you should be.
